Turning Rain into Lemonade

It seems that the District of Columbia is confusing itself with Washington state! It is cold, rainy and gray outside and I can barely stand it!

This morning I decided that I needed a little "pick me up".

I have been promising myself a pair of Wellies for years now but whenever I'd go to purchase my British rain boots they were always on back order or sold out. Wack!

So today I said "to hell with the Wellies! Asha & Alphie are innovators and not duplicators!!!"

I searched the web for trendy and understated rain boots and found two cute pair made by a Canadian company called Kamik.

I couldn't decide which length I loved best so I ordered both and I'll decide when they arrive at my doorstep. (I hope I don't love them both equally!!!)

Ahhh -- a little retail therapy on a rainy day does a woman good.
